Review of our recent purchase of a double sliding insect screen. If we were reviewing the product on quality alone it would undoubtedly receive five stars. The ordering process was also relatively straightforward, including the instruction videos on how to accurately measure the door aperture. Your final video on how to fit the finished product simplified the final stage of the order. All of the aforementioned attributes should normally ensure that we would have no hesitation in recommending your range of insect screen products. However, despite being advised that the order would be completed within a maximum set timescale of 19 working days, the completed product took almost twice this timescale.Your website order status page does not offer any information beyond the original advised delivery schedule. All email communication requesting delivery updates was instigated by ourselves. Approximately 6 Emails were sent and all emails received a response.The company seems to adopt a reactive (not proactive) communication process. With similar communication and delivery delay complaints starting to appear on the Trustpilot reviews page, we became concerned if our order would actually be dispatched. Customers understand (perhaps frustratingly) that there can be a number of reasons for delayed delivery schedules. However, the company must take a more transparent approach to keeping customers informed about delays, either through email or their website order status page. Plus, not responding to negative Trustpilot reviews will undoubtedly deter potential customers. We placed our order on 25th June 2025 and received our Fly Screen on 15 August 2025.With the exception of the delivery delay and the delivery communication process, and based on the quality of the product (which we are delighted with) we would still highly recommend purchasing from Flyscreenmaxx.
