Stores utilizing a delivery service have started to assume no responsibility once groceries are loaded into the driver's vehicle. The driver picked up my order worth $350 along with another $200 order but attempted to deliver the wrong one first. He then left to retrieve my order but marked it as COMPLETE before even returning. An hour passed without any updates. When I called the store, they couldn't locate the driver, and the other customer also didn't receive their order. Eventually, the store contacted corporate to track down the driver, but after three hours, they still couldn't find him. It seems simple to refill the order and send another driver, but the store has essentially washed their hands of the situation. After many years of consistent patronage, it's disappointing to see the service deteriorate due to their partnership with this delivery service. They blame the customer instead, leaving those in need, like me, without dinner or breakfast due to their refusal to take responsibility.
