Yet another crappy experience with HK FoodPanda organisation: placed order (outside of lunch/dinner rush), FP promised items in ~15min, and as always, super-fast to charge my card. Moments later, their app indicated that they lacked riders, and it may take more time.. Approx. 40 minutes later, app was still showing "we're trying to find a rider", so I tried to cancel the order (customer service chat). They refused--I was "told" to just wait and (in effect) shut up. Efforts to get refund afterward met stone wall (documented). Now escalating with card issuer (HSBC) and with gov. Food &Hygiene Dept (FEHD) that regulates food delivery companies. Disappointed that this maddeningly poor service keeps happening.
