People don't seem to realise, it's the company (not the car), that I wrote the original review about.I have bought another car since my last review. However, it wasn't a Ford.I stand by my decision to never buy another Ford due to the disgusting 'no care' attitude of the entire Ford company. Specifically the Albany WA, Melville WA and most importantly, the Head Office.To make matters worse, I'm aware of an acquaintance who has had a similar experience to mine. This is what prompted me to write this review update. It seems nothing has changed for the better. The total lack of customer consideration and service seems inherent in all aspects of the Ford company.I owned (under warranty) a Ford Falcon Wagon. My family embarked on a 400km trip to a country town. Half way there, the car developed a major problem. Apparently (I'm not a mechanic) an oil plug had not been replaced during a recent service. Temporary repairs were carried out to get us to the destination. We had repairs carried out at the dealership. However, this dealership decided that, as it was a service fault, we were obliged to pay for repairs. It didn't matter that the service was carried out at another Ford dealership. On our return home, we were unsuccessful in obtaining a refund, apology or explanation. A letter to Ford Head Office, also did no good. I didn't even receive an acknowledgement from them. So much for Ford's warranty and their company reputation. Obviously, I haven't considered buying a Ford since. I have nothing against the car. Just the company.
