I joined this site for the one week trial and cancelled before the week was up. Several months later I went to the site for a few minutes; did not login - but perhaps my password was auto-stored so it logged me in. I discovered today that since that brief login I have been paying $39.48/month for a service I'm not using. The representative explained that by logging in I activated a membership. He said that I clicked on a box that said I wanted to activate. No Way. The box is probably tiny and checked by default. Then I asked if the box explained that I was signed up for $39.48/month...and he said, well no, you would have had to go into the details to see that. He said he could cancel and reverse the pending charge, but not the prior month. Then I explained that I was an attorney, and they were both reversed. Companies who operate like this, and there are a lot of them, make it bad for those who don't.
