I was initially prescribed Kit 1 of the weight loss medication after providing my full medical history. Before starting, I reached out to confirm that the medication would not interact with my current ADHD and anxiety medications. After review, my prescription was changed, and I was given a different weight loss medication—this time without any anti-nausea support.
Shortly after beginning the medication, I became very sick and experienced side effects that significantly impacted both my physical and mental health. When I contacted the medical team again, I was advised to switch to an entirely different medication, which came with a substantial additional cost.
My concerns about the money already spent due to what appears to be a prescribing error were not addressed. Within just three weeks, I was being asked to try a third course of medication and pay an additional $200+ on top of the $400 I had already spent.
I am extremely disappointed and upset not only because of the financial burden and health risks, but also because I feel I was guided in the wrong direction and my concerns were dismissed when I raised them.
