In my years of living in Lambeth council flat. I have never come across such incompetence and lack of professionalism from some of the contractors. Out of three contractors only one was nice and professional who treated me and my house with respect. I felt very disappointed with some of the staff attitude to their work, they acted like they were forced to come to work. Taking personal calls and talking about their business with no regards to other in the house, sitting in their cars and clocking hours of doing nothing.Complaining about home improvement and how they cannot touch or repair what was not fitted by the council. As if people who live in council flats are not entitled to improve their living environment.They have a stereo type or idea of what council tenants house should look like, nothing should be aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Talking down at tenants, i cannot imagine how they treat people who do not know their rights or English not being their first language.I have always done my repairs privately less like in this situation where I have no access to the main water tank hence why I have Fortum and Lambeth doing the repair. Otherwise I would never call them to my house again. The work was not done because of bird mess and nesting that has covered the water tank to residences. That in itself is a health and safety issues. We pay service charge and the maintenance should be looking after that area.My repair was postponed due to these issues two days out of hour no outcome, but if I do not pay Lambeth rent they write to me about possession of their property.I work and I have taken time out of work three time and still no outcome achieved. No regards for people who work, I work just like they do, they wouldn't like it if someone did that to them.As a NHS worker I could be saving lives, instead i am sitting around all day waiting on Lambeth repair and Fortum their contractor.I pay my rent and Lambeth as a lord lord should be ashamed of themselves. This is what happens when you get cheap contractors, you get what you pay for.I have gone without with a bathroom that is out of function for six day. I am having to shower in the gym absolutely disgusting. My feedback to Fortum is train your staff some basic manners in how they deal with people, customer care is very important or get feedback from customers to monitor your contractors quality of work. This way you will get those bad apples out because they are ruining your reputation and those who actually do their work with excellence and significance.I am not interested in staff's personal life or feelings towards the organisation. I just want the job done to the best of their abilities and with respect.
