Delivery was very delayed and customer services did not respond to my request to cancel the order after finding out (after 2 weeks of waiting) that it was going to be late. They waited until after it had been delivered to respond simply by letting me know it had now been delivered so my concerns had been rectified. On arrival the watch did not work well. The screen kept freezing and turning itself off. The watch did not stay securely on my wrist during sports (sliding around and weaking the HR sensor connection). In addition the sleep tracking software they use was wildly inaccurate in comparison to my previous fitbit devices. I was frequently told I was asleep when I had clearly been up chatting with people (as evidenced by the time stamps on my messages). Again I tried to reach out to customer services to get advice on improving the functioning of the watch or returning it for a different model. After 11 days I received a generic email saying my order had been cancelled and I would receive a refund in 2-7 days. While this didn't answer many of the questions I had put to garmin, I accepted that a refund was a good outcome, especially as there was no request to return the product.After 2 weeks I had not received the refund (or any responses to my questions to customer services). I contacted them again, only to be told I had not been issued a refund after all. If I wanted one I would have to start a refund request from scratch and send the watch back. Still no answers to my questions and nearly 2 months after I placed my original order.I could have ordered this watch from amazon at a cheaper price and had it delivered the next day. I had just wanted to try and support the primary company by ordering from them. I obviously very much regret this decision and will never order a garmin product again.
