I studied the Certificate III in Health Services Assistance course with Foundation Education. The learning materials themselves were fine, but the work placement process and paperwork were not realistic at all.The placement form looked more like a legal contract, and everyone I asked to sign it felt uncomfortable or worried that they might be held responsible for something. One of the staff members even told me that if I offered to “work for free”, an organisation might agree to sign — but that’s not realistic or ethical in the healthcare field. As a result, I wasn’t able to get even one unit signed off, and I couldn’t continue the course.I’m not writing this out of anger — I just don’t want others to go through the same experience. Before enrolling, please make sure you read and understand all the placement requirements and documents carefully, and confirm that they suit your situation.20/11/25Thank you for your reply.I have already been in contact with your team, but the issues I raised have still not been resolved. Even after explaining my situation several times, I have not received consistent support or clear responsibility from any department. When I requested RPL, the response was very slow, and although my current unit codes have changed to the new versions, the RPL kit I was sent still contained the old unit numbers. When I asked whether this was valid, I was transferred around again with no clear answer, and communication has continued to be delayed. My assessments have also taken around three weeks to be marked. If this continues, I am very concerned that I may not be able to complete my course within the required timeframe.I would appreciate direct and timely support so this can be resolved as soon as possible.
