Fundamentally is should be and has been a great device, genuinely one of the best training tools I have used. I have owned both Gen 1 and Gen 2 and loved the previous interface. Had them for some time.

However, the recent website changes have significantly reduced its usability.

• Reviewing individual recordings is now much harder than it used to be
• The new interface feels like a major step backward
• It is far less intuitive to dig into specific results
• Previously I could use a drop in heart rate or an algorithm flagged event as a cue to scan the corresponding ECG above on the same screen dragging my mouse across until the lined up
• It was slightly clunky, but once you understood the workflow it worked well
• Now premium locked features sit between the heart rate graph and the ECG view
• You can no longer easily view both on screen together for interpretation

That was the core value of the platform. Without seamless alignment between the heart rate graph and the ECG trace, the tool becomes dramatically less useful.

In its current state, I cannot recommend it. The hardware remains excellent, but the software experience has undermined it. 2/2 stars for hardware, but in terms of outputs, its rendered very near useless in its current form, as its bit like pin the tail on the donkey to find the relevant 20 second strip. 1/3 for that for a total of 3, which is generous given the silly prices for this kit. Currently NOT good value at all. Best avoided unless this gets fixed.

An Exceptional Company with Excellent Support

This is an exceptional company that truly supports their product. After using my device for about a year, I encountered some issues with data saving. I reached out to the customer service team, and they tried various solutions without success. Eventually, a representative recognized my problem and arranged for a return while also sending me a replacement unit. I received the new device yesterday and used it today… flawless! I had a fantastic experience with this company and their remarkable product. The device is outstanding and works exceptionally well, and their customer service is unparalleled!

This device is truly EXCELLENT. It consistently performs well, connecting effortlessly to both my training platforms and reliably providing a clear, easy-to-read EKG that can be sent to a healthcare provider. The app presents your history in a clear and understandable way, covering everything from training load to heart rate, breathing rate, and heart strain, along with an accurate VO2 max. It's definitely worth the investment. Highly recommend!

I have Fourth Frontier X2 and it’s great - support too!

I have Fourth Frontier X2 and it’s brilliant. Particularly with a premium subscription, there’s lots of data to analyse - or you can leave it all the algorithms! A real selling point is the support - very helpful and always wanting to help. 5 stars!

Excellent helpdesk

I had connection issues with my brand new X Plus because the X Plus Android app is not available in Europe.After a chat with Sahid on the website, I quickly received a mail with instructions. Sahid changed some settings in my account and since then it works smoothly.This is how a helpdesk should be!Beside that, the X Plus device meets my expectations with the ECG's and other data recorded during runs.

Empathetic and Responsive Support

Sahid and the technical team were fantastic. They understood my issue and were empathetic to my dilemma. There was no initial cookie-cutter response that doesn't help anyone. Each communication was responsive and moved to an efficient resolution.

A great product to monitor cardiac…

A great product to monitor cardiac performance during exercise - important time as someone with heart issues but a fitness fanatic. Product is easy to use with unique stats. Support team is also very responsive when the occasional issue has occurred - and both times the issues was resolved satisfactorily
