As a solar PV installer recently switching to installing Fox systems I was impressed with their products and technical back up.
All was well until I had an issue with a battery disconnecting from a system installed in November 2025. After numerous calls to their tech line and two site visits to take videos which clearly showed the battery was faulty. The engineer said a replacement battery would be sent out and a ticket number raised, not a problem. The engineer then called me again once I had left site to ask if I could return to site as the video didn’t show the same reading as we had previously had whilst we were fault finding via a watts app message/ call. I explained this wasn’t practical as I had left site and was not in the town any longer. It was clear the system was still off line and I had already spent a considerable amount of time on the phone and diagnosing a fault on their battery.
I have tried messaging the engineer for an update but have had no reply. My client is asking me for updates when his system will be up and running again as he’s invested a lot of money in a system which is not working as it should be.
I imagine I will need to go through the process again of contacting their support team and more site visits, poor show in my opinion.
