The staff (Bernard stands out) are always cheerful, friendly and knowledgeable. They all bend over backwards to help rectify any errors found in the system. I had a power cut which we discovered had crashed the wi-fi dongle. I was sent a new one immediately. I had to uninstall my app and start again but all is now running smoothly (and better as the new app is an up to date version with more info on it) Thank you staff @ Fox ESS UK based in Coventry
As a solar PV installer recently switching to installing Fox systems I was impressed with their products and technical back up.
All was well until I had an issue with a battery disconnecting from a system installed in November 2025. After numerous calls to their tech line and two site visits to take videos which clearly showed the battery was faulty. The engineer said a replacement battery would be sent out and a ticket number raised, not a problem. The engineer then called me again once I had left site to ask if I could return to site as the video didn’t show the same reading as we had previously had whilst we were fault finding via a watts app message/ call. I explained this wasn’t practical as I had left site and was not in the town any longer. It was clear the system was still off line and I had already spent a considerable amount of time on the phone and diagnosing a fault on their battery.
I have tried messaging the engineer for an update but have had no reply. My client is asking me for updates when his system will be up and running again as he’s invested a lot of money in a system which is not working as it should be.
I imagine I will need to go through the process again of contacting their support team and more site visits, poor show in my opinion.

As an installer, we've often relied on the technical team at the company, and they've been incredibly helpful. We've mostly worked with one representative who has been fantastic—if only every manufacturer had someone like her. The rest of the team has always been quick to respond and supportive.

I encountered a fault with my system and emailed the support team. Within a couple of hours, I received a response from a representative who identified the problem during a video call. I then contacted an electrician to fix it. Everything is now sorted, and the service was excellent—10/10.
As an installer, I can't recommend this service enough. They offer a great range of products that are enjoyable to install. The support staff are exceptional, and I would particularly suggest reaching out to one representative. 👍🏻
