We visited a festive steam train event yesterday and found it quite underwhelming. The train moved between closely spaced stations, and we spent more time stopped than moving. The carriages were cold and dimly lit, lacking any festive decorations or music. We were also the last to meet Mrs. Claus and Santa, making those encounters feel rushed, with Santa even checking his watch as other passengers departed. I gave it two stars because our young child enjoyed her biscuit and gift from Santa. I would suggest looking for a different option! Overall, it was not worth the ticket price.
