Avoid this rental service at all costs. I felt cheated at the service counter. I booked a car through a travel platform and paid in full in advance. However, when I arrived at the counter, the agent informed me that the car type I booked wasn’t available, forcing me to upgrade to a larger vehicle for an extra fee that I didn’t need. My previous experiences with other rental companies showed that they would provide another available car at no extra charge, as it was their responsibility. But this company just wanted to take advantage of me. To add insult to injury, the couple behind me received the car type I booked! Additionally, they insisted I pay for pre-paid fuel, claiming it was cheaper, but that turned out to be another scam since I only used half a tank. To make matters worse, the agent charged me for mandatory rental liability protection, citing a new law, even though my own insurance covers this. The hidden fees caught me off guard at the counter. In total, I ended up paying over $400 extra for my rental. When I contacted customer service, I felt even more frustrated. All I received were dismissive answers, and they shifted the blame onto me for agreeing to the upgrade. The manager on the phone even asked if I had any proof of the situation. It was infuriating. This company is irresponsible and has scammed me.
