I have to agree with other reviewers that the quality of the hair has really gone down.I was warned about this by a friend before purchasing my last pack at the end of last year from their website but decided to rebuy as I had always been happy before. I'm writing a review now as I've had time to test them out properly. With my last silver fox 20 inch deluxe set, I was able to get 3 sets out of it as my hair is quite fine and it lasted me probably about a year and a half, which was great! This time, I'm lucky to get two sets out of the packet. I was first of all dissapointed as halfway through toning the silver fox ones with purple shampoo (they are still quite yellowy) I noticed that a couple of wefts had spots of brown colour on them. I emailed about this but was told there was no way they could be returned or exchanged because I had toned half the set even though the pieces that I found them on were straight out of the packet and untampered with. This set also doesn't seem to be lasting as long as they used to and have started matting pretty quickly. They already felt dryer straight out of the packet. I use special sprays designed to extend the life of them and make sure to only use shampoo designed for extensions and to not over shampoo them etc, following all the hair care for extensions but compared to ones I've bought before, they just seem to be drying out very quickly. They also toned incredibly patchy, despite me toning them in the correct way, as I have done for years. So the colour is not very even on them to begin with, I'm suspicious as to whether parts of them are mixed with synthetic because some parts just will not take a tone at all and other parts go purple immediately. This is despite me prewashing them with a sulfate free shampoo and pre wetting them and then softly swishing them into a bowl full of diluted purple shampoo watching very carefully 5 seconds at a time. I'm not a newbie when it comes to doing hair so it's not a case of me not knowing what I'm doing. The thing that really blew my mind however was that I recently bought another set of new cheap Chinese brand extensions for very cheap in comparison to just dye to put some crazy colours in my hair and was expecting them to be low quality and not last very long but was very surprised that the quality on these cheap branded extensions was far better than my foxy locks ones and the volume was about twice as much too! Honestly I truly agree with others that the quality has really gone down. I've been wearing clip in human hair extensions for over ten years and the quality of this last pack was just very poor for the price I paid.
