I booked a non-refundable flight through a third-party platform, and later, when my plans changed, I realized I wanted to modify or cancel my flight. However, the option to change the flight was inexplicably removed from their website, with no explanation provided. I reached out via email to inquire about changing my flight, only to be informed that I had to contact the airline directly. The airline then redirected me back to the third-party company, creating confusion. The real issue arose when I inquired about the possibility of getting a refund upon cancellation. I received a response indicating I would get a cancellation quote, which initially seemed promising. However, the quote came via an email linking to a webpage stating I wouldn't receive any refund—an absurd way to communicate this. A few hours later, I received another email stating my flight had been canceled. Naturally, I complained, as I had only inquired about a refund, not requested a cancellation. The service insisted that the cancellation was at my request and claimed no error had occurred. This was particularly frustrating, as it was a £400 flight, and I wanted to explore other options for obtaining a refund, such as selling the ticket. The support team has been completely unhelpful and seems determined to cover their mistake in canceling my flight. I strongly recommend avoiding this service for flight bookings if there’s any chance your plans might change; their lack of flexibility is astounding.
