Dear Orchestra,I am writing to express my disappointment about a staff response today in the Chavannes-de-Bogis Orchestra shop:I came into the shop today to show the shop manager a pair of girls’ boots, which I bought from orchestra on the 6th October, and which have holes in the soles (see photo attached). I noticed the holes on the 3rd Nov, only a month after I bought them.Her response was that it was our fault….?! I am pretty appalled by this response :1) We have never had any problems with any other shoes, either from Orchestra or other shops.2) Even if the shoes had been used every single day (which they weren’t) I wouldn’t expect this result.3) in fact, I’m sure you would defend that your shoes should last MUCH longer than a single month, whatever the usage. 4) even IF there was a doubt with regards the “over” usage of the shoes, in terms of customer relations, this was bad management: being told it was our fault and that no gesture would be made, despite being an Orchestra member and a loyal customer, is extremely uncommercial and unconstructive.Todays experience has left me feeling very disappointed by the quality of Orchestra’s clothes and by the service of Orchestra’s staff.
