I have had the French versions of Smartbox (so probably less polite service than UK establishments) but in the end the face value of the vouchers are always much more than going independently would work out at.I estimate you pay (or someone gifting you does) 25 % more than you would if you went in off the street.And the choice of menus is much poorer.Also very difficult to get in touch with these people if problems arise.No e mail contacts.
