I purchased these because they were on offer, today I have received an £18 customs charge to pay, which I won't be paying. This isn't made clear at order stage, it should be part of the P&P then it's my choice. It's only a step away from being a scam. It was my first Christmas present purchase, looks like I'm back to not having started yet. Order number #P8XLPGUpdate…the response is a stock one, you can see this in other reviews. My order number is in the initial review. I said a step away from a scam.. but I think they know exactly what they are doing and are misleading people. For this I’ve changed my review from two stars to one.Further update: I went to the sorting office to give them the card and ask them to return the items to sender, they advised that £9 of the £18 is their handling charge, so if Fraicheur were transparent, they would take the £9 customs charge at point of sale, anyone ordering from the UK doesn't get their delivery until they pay £9 customs charge and £9 RM handling charge. I wonder how many people don't bother collecting them or swallow the charge but never give them repeat business? Bit of a shame to me..?**Further Update** I received an email in March 2023 to say that they have sent me a complimentary gift but didn't say what, a couple of days later I received a pretty evil looking Chef's knife in the post, delivered by Evri, you could see from the label that it had come from abroad and the UK label had been stuck on top of the original one. I went back through all my emails to check I hadn't ordered something by mistake, which I was fairly certain I hadn't as it wasn't in a style I would order. I peeled some of the label off and the tracking number matched the one quoted by Fraicheur so it did come from them????????? So I ordered Ice Globes, was mislead on customs charges, and instead of just refunding me the customs charge & RM's handling charge (or being upfront in the first place) they return the globes at their expense, then send me a knife that I neither asked for not do they sell as far as I can see? I find this a little strange personally. I emailed them to clarify what the gift was that they'd sent as they messaged me on the day to say it had been delivered, which was the same day the knife arrived, but they've never confirmed. The tracking is the same though so it is from them. Weird.
