Ok, so the engineer came out yesterday to service the tap. The service charge is £230. He changed the filter and left and additional one, and replaced a few seals etc.It’s a LOT of money, but the guy did a good job. He was incredibly nice and efficient & I was impressed.The tap is a convenience, but it is ridiculously expensive to buy and maintain. On ours, we have to buy filters every 6 months (over £40 a time) and this service, and our tap has had to have almost every part replaced at least once. Out of warranty repairs have cost over £500.
