I didn’t really understand how the online course worked. After about 3 weeks, they kept asking me if I had any disability that they could help with - I haven’t, apart from wearing hearing aids, which isn’t a problem. They asked this twice, then kicked me off the course. I still don’t really know why. As a person in my 60s, I haven’t done much digital learning, apart from short courses at work. I suppose I was doing it wrong. I must say, I found the process counter-intuitive and quite frustrating. It would have been good to talk to - or even message - a real person. I’m not unintelligent (I went to a Russell Group university) and certainly not lazy - but this experience has made me feel as if I am accused of both. I work full time and have an evening/weekend job too, so it was quite hard to fit in study. All in all - not what I was hoping for!
