I didn’t really understand how the online course worked. After about 3 weeks, they kept asking me if I had any disability that they could help with - I haven’t, apart from wearing hearing aids, which isn’t a problem. They asked this twice, then kicked me off the course. I still don’t really know why. As a person in my 60s, I haven’t done much digital learning, apart from short courses at work. I suppose I was doing it wrong. I must say, I found the process counter-intuitive and quite frustrating. It would have been good to talk to - or even message - a real person. I’m not unintelligent (I went to a Russell Group university) and certainly not lazy - but this experience has made me feel as if I am accused of both. I work full time and have an evening/weekend job too, so it was quite hard to fit in study. All in all - not what I was hoping for!
I had an excellent experience with the course provider. The entire process was straightforward from beginning to end, with clear explanations that made it easy to know what to expect. The adviser who assisted me was particularly helpful — approachable, patient, and skilled at simplifying the options, making the selection process feel manageable instead of daunting. It's a breath of fresh air to interact with someone who genuinely wants to assist instead of hurrying you along. I felt heard, supported, and assured in my choices. I would gladly recommend their services to anyone seeking to enhance their skills or explore new opportunities.
I completed the course on Mental Health First Aid and Advocacy in the Workplace. It was an amazing experience, especially after a long break from studying. I received incredible support from the mentor, as I face challenges with ADHD that make deadlines and extensive writing tough. The course helped me stay accountable and offered encouragement throughout. I'm looking forward to starting another course in the new year!
I want to express my gratitude for the outstanding support and guidance I received. I have already enrolled in two courses, and I will definitely reach out again for my next one. The representative was always responsive, communicated clearly, and genuinely helped every step of the way. I truly appreciate the dedication and positive experience provided.
