Going from two incomes to just one was terrifying and seemed impossible to live off of. Without FDR helping us lower our debt payment there would have been no other way to keep up with them. The timeline was faster than expected and the customer support team was always helpful.
So again I give this company a one star as months ago I tried to ask for a little bit of leniency and I was told I could not be helped so again this month I asked to just drop my payment down by $100 because I was going through a hard time about to have knee surgery and I was told again that I cannot be helped so yes I do not recommend this company to anyone and as soon as my program is over with I would highly not recommend this to anyone
The representative I worked with was very helpful and helped me transfer from a company that wasn’t working for me to them. So far I’m very happy and would recommend them highly!!
I’m not one to write about experiences with financial companies. But with Freedom Debt Relief they were working very hard to pay off my debt. I think it was about $11,000. We were just about ready to finish paying off three maybe it was for credit cards after being with them for about a little over two years, I think that’s how long it was. That’s win ARCHIVE contacted me which is a part of Freedom Debt was able to go ahead and pay off the debt and now I will be paying them. I didn’t really understand what it was all about, but the man that explained it to me, it sounded it would be good for me because it was gonna take longer to get these other bills paid off than what Freedom Debt thought. So it was kind of like a finance for me to pay off the rest of them right away. And I’m not one to understand a lot of financing that’s why I gotten debt I think because I needed extra cash every month because I’m on Social Security but anytime I called Freedom. They explained things to me as well as they could because I still had questions, but I didn’t know how to ask them. This is my review thank you Freedom Debt Relief for helping me get part of my debt paid off now. I got to look at maybe three years yet to pay off the balance that was still owedPatricia Owens.
I wish every debt was contacted initially so they knew it was going to be resolved rather than waiting for negotiations. I just wish an initial contact could be made so I don’t look like such a delinquent after never missing a payment
Dealing with Freedom debt relief has been a breeze. They have already knocked one of our debts off the board and we’ve only make 2-3 payments! This service feels like a well-structured scam. They impose an 11.8% fee on the total loan amount, even when the loan is settled for a lower figure, in addition to monthly charges. They refuse to negotiate with any lenders, and if you decide to cancel your subscription out of frustration, it takes them over four months to refund your money, along with countless excuses. All representatives are trained to make their falsehoods seem credible. They won't even provide any commitments in writing. Just avoid them. Don't waste your money.
I put a lot of thought into this, especially since I faced potential lawsuits. I managed to catch one before it escalated with the credit card service. Once it reached the lawyer, the costs were significantly reduced compared to the initial amount. For example, I owed 33k, and they wanted to settle for 22k while I would pay 8k for the 25%. In the end, I settled for 25k, saving 5k. However, this approach doesn't prevent lawsuits. The support team is helpful and tries to address all inquiries, but ultimately, the plan ended up costing more than settling directly. I believed I was making the right choice by using their service, but the lack of updates on my claim and their decision to escalate it to lawyers without allowing me to address issues directly led to larger problems later on.
