Awful experience with this service. Two contractors failed to show up. I submitted a complaint regarding the inadequate service, and the support team acknowledged my concern, agreeing to compensate me with £175. However, after multiple follow-ups, I still haven't received the compensation, and my emails are now being overlooked. I strongly advise avoiding this service.
Unacceptable service! I reached out on December 5th at 1:00 PM, and now it’s December 8th at 7:00 PM without heating! No assistance was available over the weekend. An engineer came today at 9:00 AM, diagnosed the issue, and the necessary information was emailed at 2:24 PM, but they require 24 hours to approve the estimate? They barely meet the definition of 'emergency'. Communication is abysmal! The phone team is 'not allowed' to contact the 'back office team' for follow-ups! This company is a complete joke.

I purchased home insurance with emergency cover from what I thought was a reputable company. In early July, my boiler stopped working, and a company sent engineers, but it kept failing. In September, the last engineer replaced a part and suggested a power flush, which wasn't covered by the insurance. My boiler failed again with water leaking, and when I called, I was told they wouldn't send anyone until the system was power flushed. I requested written confirmation for reimbursement if the flush didn't resolve the issue, but they insisted it wouldn't fix the boiler. Now it's early December, and I'm without hot water or heating, with the situation in the hands of the ombudsman, as the company refused to send another engineer. I’m waiting for the ombudsman’s findings.
The response from the team was outstanding, and their plumber arrived very quickly. He identified the problem and advised contacting a roofer since the leak was coming from the tiles. All the staff were efficient and pleasant to work with.
I called the emergency service the night before, and the engineer arrived at 4 PM the next day. Through no fault of his own, he was very apologetic. He diagnosed the issue quickly and reassured me throughout the process. He was polite and professional, truly an asset to any company. The emergency scheduling could improve, but the engineer's service was first-class.
