This program does NOT work, After 6 months and $3,188.00 taken for their "negotiation fees". NONE of it paid my creditors. When I asked for a detailed accounting of all the services performed and their cost, I was ignored and then transferred to another company, which I told the agent I had already talked to that company and they referred me to FDR. So I got a great run around for an entire day requesting that they justify the money they took from me and refuse to get back.
They found debts that were not mine and DUPLICATED the same account and added it to my enrolled debt amounts. THEN CHARGED ME $1800 to "negotiate" a debt that was not mine. I told them repeatedly that 3-4 of those accounts I DO NOT OWE, they refused to listen to me and then added it and charged me for negotiating the account. In 6 months not one of these creditors were paid and I am now out $3188.00 and still in the same place I was before I started. BUT NOW MY SAVINGS IS GONE and they REFUSE TO RETURN THOSE FUNDS. I am still waiting for an itemized list of their services and fees charged.... They will not address this request nor provide me with what I need to see. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS SERVICE. Your credit will get worse when you are done because settled debt is not reported in a positive way and will decrease your overall scores. AND you will be paying the same amount of debt you owe, but half of it will go to FDR and whatever is left will go to your creditors. What they should be doing is disputing the accounts I TOLD THEM TO DISPUTE but if they do that, they can't charge me fees for services they never provided. This company was the biggest mistake I have made to correct my credit. Credit that was destroyed due to Identity theft. These people do not know the laws governing their own industry. Please do not use this service, you will regret it!!!
