I confirmed with JESS, a Freelancer Support person. That my project needs to be conducted off their platform to do some connecting of dots. He understood and gave me the go ahead to do my thing. It's always important to take platform rules seriously if you intend to utilize other platforms. I know from experience that FREELANCER is the best platform to use!
