I've been using the second version for three months and wish I could recommend it as a primary monitor, but I simply can't. It frequently gives inaccurate readings (like 2.8 when a finger test shows 4.3), which happens daily. Additionally, the daily graph is delayed by 20-30 minutes, making it unreliable for confirming current measurements. The alarm feature is also inaccurate, alerting for low levels when a finger test shows normal levels.
