These libre 2 plus cause unnecessary anxiety, it wakes me in the night with low blood sugars of 3 for me to test and my sugars are 7. Has I am writing this review the alarm went off and said my sugars are 3.2 so I tested with me finger blood test and theyre 5.8. I wore them last year without my dr telling me too when he found out he said don't wear one they are unreliable and will cause you anxiety. In january my diabetic nurse said wear them so we can get a good look at my blood sugars. Im on my 3rd one since january I have had this one on now 1 day and im taking it off I cant keep having the anxiety theyre causing saying too many low blood sugars when I ain't got low blood suagrs. It also shows blood sugars of 15 and also shown blood sugars at 19 which wasn't right. I feel these libre are very dangerous and can cause someone to either go hypo or hyper and have too much insulin or not enough.
This product has been quite disappointing. I'm using the second version, and it typically lasts around two days before it fails. I frequently encounter sensor errors and lost signals. The final straw was when it showed a reading of 3.9, then dropped to 2.9 just 20 minutes later. I took a finger test that showed 10.4, and a trip to the emergency room confirmed a reading of 9.8. I no longer trust this product and will be switching to another option.
The phone support system is extremely frustrating. They play odd music that seems designed to make you hang up. They mention a 30-minute wait, but you end up waiting indefinitely or getting disconnected. It feels like they aren't truly assisting anyone! No matter when you reach out, the waiting time is excessive.
There are significant problems with the current version of the device. I've used the previous model for years, and it was a lifesaver. However, since switching to the latest version, the sensor consistently provides inaccurate readings throughout the day. The inaccuracies are especially concerning in the early morning, where it shows high levels when I'm normal. This isn't just one faulty sensor; it's been every sensor I've used for the past couple of months. I'm back to traditional methods of testing, as I no longer trust these readings.
The customer support line is extremely frustrating. They play annoying music to encourage you to hang up, and they quote a 30-minute wait, but you end up waiting much longer or getting disconnected. It's a disappointing experience that doesn't help anyone at all!
This device has been incredibly reliable for me, and I'm surprised by the numerous negative reviews. While it may not always be 100% accurate, it serves as a helpful alert that has reduced my need for finger pricking. The only issue I've encountered is occasional disconnection at night, but toggling Bluetooth off and on before bed resolves that. Overall, I have no major complaints about this product.
If I could, I would give it no stars. The device fails to stay on and rarely provides any readings. In just two days, I've scanned over 100 times and only received 7 readings. This is the worst product I've ever encountered. Avoid it at all costs.
I've been using the second version for three months and wish I could recommend it as a primary monitor, but I simply can't. It frequently gives inaccurate readings (like 2.8 when a finger test shows 4.3), which happens daily. Additionally, the daily graph is delayed by 20-30 minutes, making it unreliable for confirming current measurements. The alarm feature is also inaccurate, alerting for low levels when a finger test shows normal levels.
My experience has been terrible. The device frequently fails, losing signal, providing wildly inaccurate readings, and triggering false alarms. Customer service is slow and unhelpful. Based on my experience and others', this device feels more like a liability than a dependable diabetes management tool.
