On paper, this is an excellent idea - constant monitoring of blood glucose for diabetes without the need for endless finger pricks. In practice, it's an absolute nightmare with the supposedly improved Libre 2+ being worse than it's predecessor, the Libre 2. Not sure how, but the Libre 2+ has the ability to both under-read and over-read glucose levels and is ridiculously slow to react to quickly changing levels. The app also has the ability to give a suggested HbA1c reading yet my last two blood tests were 10 points lower than the estimate given by the Libre. I'm hoping to change to something better next time I see my consultant but for now, I'm back to finger pricks.
