On January 20, 2026, at 3:47 PM, I called this insurance company, Freeway Insurance, at this address: 5727 Westheimer Rd Ste A1, Houston, TX 77057, to request a quote for my 2022 Escalade. The agent's name is Melisa. The first thing she did before I signed the policy was charge me $329. When I signed, after she entered all the policy information, I realized that everything was wrong. She had created a policy for a 2008 BMW with an address that wasn't mine. I told her that everything was wrong, and she proceeded to cancel the entire process, admitting that she had made a mistake when signing the cancellation. At that moment, she notified me that my funds would be deposited in two business days. However, they only deposited $129 on January 22, 2026, at 9:36 AM. When I saw that... $200 is missing. I've complained several times and they just keep saying they'll give me the money, but they don't. I even went to the store on February 4, 2026 at 10:34 AM and they told me not to worry, that they would refund my money. Today is March 4, 2026, almost two months ago and one month since I went to the store, and I still haven't received my refund. This could happen to anyone. This agency and their agent, Melisa, are not professional. I don't recommend this agency to anyone. Sign the policy first and then pay the money so the same thing doesn't happen to you.
