On Wednesday 8th March I received a delivery from Frive that arrived in a very poor condition.
The packaging for one of the meals (chicken korma) was damaged, and the rice had spilled throughout the box, covering all of the other items. This meant I had to clean every container myself and repackage the food before storing it. The korma itself was completely inedible and had to be thrown away.
While I understand that issues can occasionally happen, what was most disappointing was the response from customer service. I had to wait longer than 24 hours for their response (despite their automated response email saying they would respond within 24 hours). When I finally got their response I was only offered a credit for the single affected meal, despite the fact that the entire order was impacted and I had to spend time dealing with the mess and inconvenience.
I raised this with them, but they haven't responded this time at all.
Overall, this felt like poor quality control and inadequate customer service. I would expect better handling of both food packaging and customer complaints.
Disappointing experience and not what I would expect from a food delivery service.
