Fujifilm Ryan's Photo Centre Liffey Valley Shopping Centre - Rude Owner And Bad Service!

Thursday 28th January 2016 - Approx 10:00amFujiFilm Liffey Valley - Ryan's Photo StoreI brought back my photos that I had a receipt for as they were all printed wrong, with some of the heads of people missing in the photos and zoomed in too much on others.I had called a day or 2 prior to going back and Declan Ryan the store owner said "I know what happened there, bring them back and I'll show you how to avoid that" I explained to him that I had just put the USB stick in and he done the rest"I went in to him on the Thursday the 28th January 2016 and he took the USB stick and put it in the machine and as he was sorting it out he said "Now see that line ya have to watch that doesn't go there etc" I said to him well like I said I just put the USB stick in and you done the rest and he said "No it's up to the customer to do it" And I said "Well I wasn't shown how to use the machines as they're new so I disagree with you" And that's when he first became defensive saying "Ah come on now!". And I said to him "No I'm actually highly offended the way your speaking to me, so what you can do is just print the pictures properly this time that I have a receipt for and I'll be on my way and won't come in here again"He said "Sorry I didn't mean to offend you" I said "Well you did and under normal circumstances what I would do in a situation like this is highlight it on Dublin Talks With Adrian Kennedy and he said "Don't threaten me!" I replied "Nobody threatened you and how dare you speak to me like that, I said just print my photos please" And he said "Certainly" and went in behind the desk and started getting them ready and he then tried to lighten the mood by creating small talk. I remained civilized and spoke normal then he said "In future when you come in just ask one of the girls about the machines and they'll show you how to use it"I replied "You won't have to worry about that because as soon as you print these it will be the last time you'll ever see me in your shop again"He said "Well I'm sorry to hear that but I have apologized" I said "In fairness to you, you did apologize but then you accused me of threatening you when I wasn't, I said I've been coming in here for years and I don't have to tolerate your rude, insultive and ignorant attitude, I said I wouldn't take it from any other shop and I certainly won't take it from you"I said now hurry up with my photos please I've things to do and haven't got all day to stand here going over old ground about the same thing, he said "yeah they're nearly done now"I said out straight "In future you need to be careful how you speak to people and I hope you've learned lessons from this"And he said "Oh sure you learn lessons everyday as they say" I said well hopefully you learn one from this and he said "Perception is reality" I said correct, including your perception of this situation that's also your reality too.I told him I had a Level 6 in managing people and he said "I've been working in this business 17 years" I said that's all the more reason you need to be careful how you speak to people. I then asked him if his store was franchised or if he was an independent business and he said he owned the store. When my photos was ready he handed them to me and shook my hand holding my hand with his 2 hands and said "I'm glad we can have a friendship on some level" I said I'll be civil with you but my custom ends here, all the best bye. And I walked out.He crossed a line speaking to a paying customer like that, it was completely unacceptable on any level and highly inappropriate and it was only the fact that he owns the store that he still has a job because any other employee would have been fired on the spot for Gross Misconduct.I would point out that on another occasion when I was having an extremely important Certificate Qualification put into a frame in his shop he had the nerve to actually cut the actual qualification with a scissors slightly to get it in line with the frame, I did not ask him to carry out this action and he caused damage to my property by doing so. I even let him away with this and that's the thanks you get.I was going into this shop for years giving custom to a person who was nothing more than a rude incompetent imbecile with no respect for Customers, very rushy and fussy and shifts blame on you when he gets it wrong, highly highly unprofessional.I would not recommend this shop to anyone and would advise consumers to exercise their rights to shop elsewhere, there's plenty of other photo printing shops not far off locally including Boots Liffey Valley and many more!My Advice, Don't Shop at Fujifilm Ryan's Photo Centre Liffey Valley Shopping Centre - After the way I was treated and spoken to after being a loyal customer I'd never go near that place again! Take your custom elsewhere, somewhere that values you!.
