SCAM! Reservation paid online via an intermediary. At pick-up, a €2000 deposit was demanded, and the same card used for the reservation was refused, despite being in my name and me being the main driver. Nowhere in the terms is it stated that company cards are not accepted; it only indicates that the card must be in the driver’s name, which my card fulfills. No alternative was offered — only pressure to use another card I did not have or to purchase an additional insurance at a much higher cost, otherwise I would lose the amount already paid. The vehicle provided did not match the one reserved. This is an abusive and misleading practice.
