The delivery experience was quite disappointing, and the compensation offered was far from adequate. We ordered a sofa during a major sale, expecting it to arrive within 4-6 weeks. We were informed it would be delivered on December 19th, but only one box arrived, which the delivery service deemed complete. Upon opening it, we found that a significant portion of the sofa was missing. This was particularly troublesome as we were hosting family for the holidays and had planned to dispose of our old sofa on the expected delivery day due to space constraints. After numerous emails, we were told that the service would send the missing items, but they claimed no additional parcels were available. Eventually, we were notified that more boxes would be sent but wouldn’t arrive in time for Christmas, with an estimated arrival of 7 working days, which is unacceptable. After all the waiting and delivery issues, we were offered a mere £20 in compensation, which feels laughable. If I had ordered later, the delivery timeframe would have been shorter by December 19th. While I hope the remaining parts arrive eventually, it’s too late for our holiday plans, and our family has had to make other arrangements. I’m not inclined to use this service again and would prefer a closer provider.
