After self funding two rounds of IVF which failed, we knew we had to give it one more round before throwing in the towel. Once you’ve started IVF you understand how it takes over a big part of your life and affects you physically, mentally and can make some social situations uncomfortable.We did not have the funds for our third round and decided to change to a clinic with better statistics. This also came with a higher price tag compared to our last clinic (which was well worth it).I was a little dubious about how good to be true Gaia sounded. However, after making contact and speaking with Lucy, everything was clear and clean cut. Every step was explained and regular contact to ensure all was going well with treatment.I truly felt supported when speaking to different members of Gaia, each person was kind, caring and made the journey a little easier. Whilst there were check ins, it never felt intrusive and more like your friend checking in to see how you are.Gaia even sent a small gift in the post after signing up and it truly was a lovely touch.I think Gaia is the way forward to afford what can be very expensive treatment and a massive barrier preventing people from starting families. It’s reassuring to know when finances allow we can make additional payments without being penalised for closing the finance earlier than the agreed date.Thank you Gaia for being a big part of our journey. We now have a beautiful healthy baby girl with a mop of hair and the potential to have two further children in the future thanks to this round.
