I bought the (91cm) garden gate online and the advertised sizes only included height and width (not thickness). When it arrived, the courier carried it with one hand, as it was so light. On inspection, the wood was around 1cm thick and very light. The Chinese made gate was of a really flimsy construction and would not have stood exposure to winter weather for very long. I contacted Garden Sanctuary and requested a return, which I had to arrange and pay for, despite the item not being fit for purpose. After 10 days, following delivery confirmation, I had to again contact Garden Sanctuary for my refund, which was duly processed. My subsequent review on the GS website (as requested by them) was only online for 24 hours before it disappeared. The same item now has a 4.5/5 rating, based on 9 strong reviews, but it is apparent that these are selected for display.
