Can I give less than 1 star? I tried to cancel my order less than 12 hours after it was made. Within minutes of submitting that request to GARDPRO I was sent a notification that it was being processed and made ready to ship.
GARDPRO responded that it couldn't cancel the order because it had already started the shipping process , according to their own tracking website the package did not leave the factory for another 24-48 hours after this.
I was told that I would have to refuse delivery and the package would be rerouted back to them. At this point they could start a refund process.
I had the package intercepted by Post Haste before delivery and they redirected it back to the sender, providing tracking information to me showing it had been handed over to the specified return international courier at Auckland Airport.
I forwarded this to GARDPRO and their tracking webpage reflected the same info, when a refund was requested,despite previous promises to start the refund process, GARDPRO said the tracking status of the package was now unclear and they would need to wait until it was delivered back to their factory in China, it should be noted that no tracking is available to me on this return leg.
I was unhappy with this and told customer services this, they threatened to close my support ticket if I kept asking for a refund, and have now gone silent when updates on the package status have been requested.
I have started a charge back process with my bank as I have been given every reason to suspect that GARDPRO have no intention of refunding my payment for product that has been only been carried by their shipping agents and so must be being tracked by them. Be warned GARDPRO are DISHONEST people who WILL NOT REFUND your money.
