I have a Garmin Fenix Chronos, it’s 7 years old but was expensive approx £900, bought as a special birthday gift. I’m having issues with the battery, contacted Garmin Support (online chat), they say they don’t do repairs! and as this isn’t a current model, can’t exchange! Instead I can have a 30% discount off a new watch. I have 2 issues with this, firstly I chose the Fenix Chronos because it has a metal case and looks like a “real” watch, all the current models have a cheap plastic case. Secondly, why would I invest more money with a company which clearly doesn’t value their existing customers, won’t I be in the same position in another 6 or 7 years? I would willingly pay for a repair or service, they just don’t offer it!My advice, look elsewhere for your smart watch.
