I have been a tenant with Garton Jones since 2017 and have always been loyal, cooperative, and respectful. Unfortunately, my experience over the last couple of months has been extremely disappointing and distressing.
Despite my tenancy legally running until 21 February, the agency repeatedly pressured me to leave early. They continued to send constant reminders, booking requests, and last‑minute cancellations for viewings, which made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable in my own home.
On 19 February, Garton Jones entered my property without my authorization and took my spare key while I was still the legal occupant and in full possession of the property. This was a serious breach of my privacy and my rights as a tenant. No proper explanation or accountability was provided for this action.
Their poor management, lack of communication, and disregard for my privacy turned my final months into a very stressful experience. I strongly advise others to be cautious, as my trust and safety were significantly violated. I am taking this matter further due to the unacceptable treatment and the absence of responsibility shown by the agency.
