I ordered a pair of shoes, confident that if I was unhappy for any reason I would be able to return them. This seemed especially to be the case because I was charged a fee upfront should such a return be necessary. I received the shoes, they were not sized correctly and had an overwhelming scent of high-grade plastic, not the promised leather. I returned the shoes, explained my reason and expected a full refund. I received a refund less $28, which was retained by Gatsby’s. I attempted to reconcile my discontent twice, to no avail. I would never recommend others order from Gatsy, unless you want to less than 75% of your purchase price if you need to make a return. A sad and disappointing first time experience.
