I would get a different company if it were easier to do with my small business needs. I miss the former GCI and especially technical support reps who were reliable, helpful and competent. I cannot say this in any way about the changeover. Also, the phones themselves are not programmed right. If I want business tech support, I get customer service, for example and they don’t identify themselves. When I do finally get tech support, I need a supervisor because the calibre of help is not helpful. I had a huge breakdown with my email recently and the GCI rep said they could not help me because it was a third party: Outlook, which I have always used and gotten help if needed from the former GCI. Though I cannot recall a need like this was. I am still not sure how GCI was involved in the complete breakdown with email which I need for my business. I had to pay for tech support here in Ketchikan to fix this which was excellent but I feel resentful GCI now can just like that bow out of previously known technical assistance yet I pay so much monthly to GCi as a small business. I now try not to call GCi if at all possible. This last and recent experience did it. How convenient for GCI not to get calls from me anymore as a high paying small business customer and yet. I am unhappy with this company.
