The processing took a bit longer than expected, but I was informed that DHL was facing some logistical challenges, so I won't hold that against them. I placed my order late on a Friday, it was handed over to DHL by the following Wednesday, and I received it in Ireland the next Monday. In total, it took 6 days from the order to delivery, which is reasonable but not exceptional. One thing I learned before ordering: Although the Canary Islands are part of Spain and the EU, they are outside the EU’s tax zone. Therefore, even though the package is moving within the EU, it has to clear customs. DHL managed this, but it took longer than my usual experiences with DHL Express within the EU (which is typically 1-2 days, compared to 3 days here). The item:
