I have been dealing with a deeply frustrating situation involving Georgian Airways for the past eight months. My baggage was lost during a flight from Tbilisi to Belgrade, with a transfer in Amsterdam. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue with both Georgian Airways and KLM, I have not received any satisfactory answers or solutions.Georgian Airways claims they never received my baggage because KLM handed it over to the police. However, the police have confirmed multiple times that they do not have my baggage. This constant back-and-forth between Georgian Airways and KLM has been extremely stressful and unproductive. As a passenger, I expect my baggage to be handled with care and my complaints to be addressed seriously. Instead, I have been met with misleading information and a complete lack of accountability from Georgian Airways. To make matters worse, neither airline has taken responsibility for my lost baggage or provided the compensation I am entitled to under international regulations, such as the Montreal Convention, which holds airlines responsible for the baggage throughout the entire journey.I have reached out to various authorities, including the police and the Ombudsman of the Netherlands, but the situation remains unresolved. I am now turning to Schiphol for assistance, hoping they can help rectify this issue.I urge Georgian Airways to take immediate responsibility for my lost baggage and work with KLM to provide the compensation I am entitled to. This experience has been incredibly disappointing and has severely damaged my trust in Georgian Airways.
