tried to transfer my Cash ISA from Chip to another provider. The transfer failed because of a simple address mismatch something that could have been easily communicated and fixed.
Instead of notifying me, Chip kept me in the dark. When I raised a complaint about this lack of communication, Julie from Chip refused to take any accountability and simply fobbed me off to the Financial Ombudsman Service and my new provider.
This caused unnecessary delay, stress, and inconvenience completely avoidable if Chip had informed me promptly. Their processes and customer care are seriously lacking. I would caution anyone considering Chip to be aware of their poor communication.
