I am very unhappy with my experience with this company. The idea was great. I thought as I was in the final chapter of my life, to put my memories in a printed book would make a nice present for my daughters. The reason for the one star was the questions they ask did help to structure the book. I had paid extra to put photos in. I previewed the book as I went on and things were going okay. However, once I finished and put my 50 photos in (I was allowed to put 100 in but decided that 50 would suffice) and I then went to click preview to send it to the print house, it would not preview. I sent an email and Paula replied saying I should clear browser cache and cookies, which I did. This did not help. I still could not get it to the preview and send to print house stage. I looked it up on Google and some people were saying that the photos may be a problem so I took ALL 50 photos out and was miffed that I had paid extra and could not use them. With great optimisism and acceptance of a text only book, I pressed PREVIEW. No luck. It still would not go into the preview section where I could send it to the print house. I sent another email to the help address saying: Okay I am getting really upset and frustrated now. I subscribed to the text with photos in, but it appears that my photos may have been causing problems. I googled it and it said that it may be the photos that were the issue. I took some of them out and occasionally would be able to preview my book with some of them in. Then I was back to not being able to preview the book at all. Please help me as I have spent a long time writing the book and collecting the photos and now I am unable to preview to send it off to the print house.
SOLUTION - EITHER GIVE ME A LINK THAT IS FOOLPROOF SO I CAN SEND IT TO THE PRINTHOUSE WITHOUT PHOTOS (WANT PARTIAL REFUND) OR FULLY REFUND ME, CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION AND I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE). I WOULD LIKE YOU TO CLEAR THIS UP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AS I NEED TO CANCEL THE PRESENT SUBSCRIPTION SOON AND I DO NOT WANT TO BE CHARGED ANY MORE MONEY.
It has been over 24 hours and I still have not heard from them. I am very distressed at the time I spent pouring my life stories into a book I will never receive. Very bad service both online and via customer services.
