I recently tried GetQR.com on their one-week trial and had a very poor experience. Within a few hours of testing the service, I realized it was not what I expected and the platform felt subpar for my needs. Unfortunately, I forgot to cancel the trial before the billing date and was charged for the subscription.
As soon as I noticed the charge, I immediately contacted their support team requesting a refund. Their response was disappointing. They claimed that because I “used the service today” I was not eligible for a refund, which is simply not accurate. Despite explaining the situation and reaching out right away, they refused to issue any refund and continued to hide behind their policy.
What makes this worse is the lack of transparency around the trial ending. Many reputable companies send reminder emails when a trial period is about to expire or check in to see how your experience has been. I received no such communication. The whole experience felt less like a customer-focused service and more like a “snatch-and-grab” billing tactic designed to catch people who forget to cancel.
Instead of working with customers in good faith, their support came across as rigid and unwilling to help, which left a very bad impression. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others before signing up for a trial with GetQR.com.
