I bought a digital gift card for a friends birthday. No card arrived at the recipient's inbox. The recipient is a digital professional, so they did correctly check their inbox and junk mail. When my friend couldn't get it, I asked for the digital card to be forward to me (the purchaser so I could forward it), and they refused. With no other solution, I asked for a refund. Initially, I was denied a refund, even though they did not deliver. Eventually, they gave me some money back BUT took out (1) an admin fee and (2) I lost the original booking fee — terrible experience. I wonder, do you always check with the gift recipient to make sure they got the gift card?
