My colleagues very generously collected a £750 gift voucher for my upcoming maternity leave using giftround. I redeemed £180 after a few weeks and left the £570 balance to redeem at a later date. I was never aware of an expiry, having received no direct notification from giftround that my balance would expire on a specific date. Today I went to redeem the balance to find it was no longer available. It had expired. I contacted customer support to request that my balance be fully reinstated and was offered £285 as a "gesture of goodwill". I am absolutely appalled. My colleagues used giftround as they trusted this provider to deliver the gift that they had collected to me. Their hard earned funds have essentially been stolen. Please AVOID this provider.
