I have a Giraffe retractable hose reel which I have been pleased with, however it jammed I contacted Giraffe for advice on how to resolve the problem, no response. I go ahead and repair it myself, it’s basically fixed but doesn’t fully rewind anymore so I contact their customer care to ask for advice on how to increase the tension so that it fully rewinds, a lady called Doris responds and ask for invoice details and video, I tell her she has misunderstood, I make clear at this point I am not making a claim under the warranty because it’s 4 years old, but she insists on the information, so I comply.She comes back and says sorry we can’t replace it, it's out of warranty. This company needs to ensure that it employs competent staff.And I still do not have any help from Giraffe as how to fix the problem.
