GivEnergy has moved from slow customer support to very slow or nonexistent customer support. Our batteries are approaching warranty end in May 2026 and I dread to think what happens after expiry. Until now they have generally worked well but several times over the last 5 years have failed and needed either remote or onsite support. To get this has generally entailed long phone waits and ignored emails, so quite frustrating. However, they now have an AI phone answering system which logs your call and then nothing happens. So you call again and it says it has prioritised your call, and nothing happens. So you email them and their auto reply says they generally take up to 5 days for a first response! I see on here many people waiting a month. Calling back the AI and asking for a human agent causes the AI to say it will connect you immediately and then the phone immediately disconnects, repeatedly. We are therefore looking at alternative suppliers, since if they aren’t prepared to invest in the customer service that is clearly needed, we don’t need this ongoing hassle every time there is a battery problem.
